The Automotive Data and Time-Triggered Framework (ADTF) is a powerful platform specifically designed for the development, simulation and testing of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) as well as other automotive functions. It serves as a rapid prototyping toolset, simulation framework and testing and measurement tool, providing an ideal environment.
ADTF is written in C++ and enables the processing and recording of data from various modern vehicle sources, including bus interfaces, cameras, LiDAR and radar. These data are timestamped with high precision and can be fused, transformed, or manipulated before being transmitted to various data sinks. The integration of new devices requires minimal programming effort, thanks to a comprehensive collection of standard ADTF components for data processing, visualization, recording and playback. Additionally, the framework can be integrated into other toolchains via standardized interfaces or connected to external applications.
With ADTF, digitalwerk combines all standards, applications and open-source elements in a proven format, allowing everyone involved in the development process to focus on the core challenges: creating functionality and ensuring safety for the autonomous driving of tomorrow.

Visualization
With ADTF, data can be intuitively visualized and analyzed using powerful tools such as Foxglove, Qt and SuperTester – enabling efficient development and debugging, both natively and via remote access.
Format
ADTF supports a wide range of data formats such as ADTFDAT, MDF, PCAP, Parquet, MCAP and ASC. This enables seamless integration into existing data processing and analysis workflows.
